Hey Everyone i decided to create a thread to keep track of everything I've done/ will be doing on my 2007 XC70 in Barents Blue Metallic on charcoal interior.
I purchased the car in March 2018 with 248000 miles for a very good price because it needed an ABS motor and Volvo wanted to charge the PO an arm and a leg for the replacement and he was not interested in doing it himself.

About the car; I bought it with 248K miles and it currently has 260~K miles. I cleaned the ABS motor and haven't had any issues with it since. I love the car and how it drives, especially with the tune. The exterior has its fair share of dings but the paint is in terrific condition I'd give it an overall 7.5/10 and the interior would get an 8.5-9/10.

Maintenance;
-Full synthetic oil changes every 4K
-Full PCV system replacement including oil pan and all seals 248500
-Plugs and coils 248500
-IPD high flow air filter 248500
-Coolant flush 248500
-Cabin filter 249500
-Fuel filter 248500
-Replaced all wire looming (that I could get to with engine in) 250000
-Trans drain and fill 248500-251000
-Upper motor mount to poly 248500
-Trans torque mount 248500
-Blower motor 255000
-Fuel pressure sensor 248500
-Map sensor 248500
-Phillips X-Treme Vision bulbs 255000
-Pierburg Porsche TCV 248500
-Bridgestone Blizzaks on stock wheels 254000
-BF Goodrich Advantage Sport tires on IPD 19" Pegasus reps 253000
-brake fluid flush with Pentosin Dot4
-Passenger side mirror glass
-Power steering flush
-sway bar end links

Performance and Modifications;
-Mototec turbo back sport exhaust 250000
-Do88 drop in intercooler and piping 250000
-Hilton stage 2 tune with trans torque delete and catalyst delete 250000
-Solid strut brace modification 248500
-IPD subframe inserts (no noticeable improvement) 253000
-Full LED interior and license plate lights
-Aluminum interior trim
-Boost gauge and custom cluster mount
-Spread out V O L V O on rear hatch
-"Ghost" turn signal bulbs to eliminate orange glow
-15 MM H&R spacers on back wheels
-Hard-wired a USB port to eliminate wires
-R Brembos I had powder-coated with Brembo rotors and Volvo pads
-Stainless braided brake lines
-Rear spoiler
-Front seats from a V70R
-IPD sway bars

Upcoming projects (parts on hand)
-Inner and outer tie rod ends
-Front control arms
-Ball joints
-Turbo return drain reseal

Future Projects;
-Derlin subframe bushings
-Shim the block
-Lowered on AWD springs
-XC90 auxiliary trans cooler

Dude... What a beautiful color. I wish I could find a dark interior and exterior. Such a pearl you got there.

Welcome aboard.

Looks real sharp! I gotta get my exterior cleaned up a bit...

Also, what are those silver rings on your stereo knobs. Mine are getting kinda gunky.

Took a little road trip through New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts this weekend and ended up in Boston for St Patrick's day. Absolutely beautiful drive. Car drove like a champ through the winding mountain roads

Always nice to see Volvos in their natural habitat of daily driving everywhere through everything.

Sheets of icicles are always amusing, but the picture full of ice and snow is even more amusing after noticing there's a motorcycle there too.

Whats your Wind fairing? Thule?

Do you have instagram?
Thank you! They are actually Oreanders, I just sprayed them black and put some Blizzaks on them for the winter. Summer setup is 19" IPD pegs with BF Goodrich advantage sports.
Thule wind fairing. 38" I believe. And yes I have an Instagram but don't put much car stuff on it. @j_thoen

Painted Wang!
For anyone that has installed one... I see the crosshairs on the tailgate that I need to drill but on the actual wing it has threaded "nipples" that stick out, I assume I need to bore out the holes on the tailgate but not all the way through so I still have something for the bolt to sit on.

That's correct. The exterior hole is drilled slightly larger than the diameter of the wing section that the bolt is threaded into. The interior hole is slightly larger than the diameter of the bolt.

I may have the instructions for the install, possibly even the templates that are used. I will check tonight if you want.
