Re: Moving out of 03' lease into an 07'- ? on negotiation (jprescott)
Yes, you might be able to use the loyalty rebate. I believe it's $2,000.<p>There is a guy claiming: "Local dealer is offering this deal for a 2007 XC90 with Sunroof, leather, CD Player, Climate/premium/versatility packages for $389/mo. for 24 months. $0 down payment and $1584 dues at inception. 10,500 miles/yr."<p><A HREF="http://townhall-talk.edmunds.com/direct/view/.ef9ddd8/[email protected]" TARGET="_blank">http://townhall-talk.edmunds.c...86mo1</A>@<p>I would assume that deal already takes into account the customer loyalty rebate, as the prices is very very good (most ads with prices like this already assume all the possible rebates, regardless if they not apply to everyone).<p>
Re: Moving out of 03' lease into an 07'- ? on negotiation (dugums)
Thanks all. I made that offer and it was accepted. Should I assume that a loyalty rebate is taken off in addition, another words I'll be about 1000 under invoice taking into account the $2000 rebate? BTW, the only reason I may bag the deal is that my wife said she would take a "worse car" to have satellite radio.
As per carsdirect.com, $1,000 over invoice sounds possible WITHOUT the loyalty rebate. Taking that into account, $2,000 can be applied against the purchase price. <p>I can infer that $1,000 under invoice is possible.
I agree it's possible, I was suggesting that unless it was accounted for in a deal, the dealer may be expecting to keep it for themselves as part of the negotiated price. If this was my deal, I'd want it all in detail and in writting so there wouldn't be any "assumming" going on.
