I got my car detailed and when I got back in it the seat was moved far back. I adjusted the seat and every time I turn off the car it re-adjusts moving back the seat to the far back position. I have had the car for 4 months and haven't had a problem. Any suggestions?
PS How do you adjust the clock?

Re: Moving driver seat? (nepats555)

Move your seat where u want it, then get out and lock via remote, then unlock the car w/ the same remote and start the car. That should work.

PS The black needle control should operate like that of an alarm clock. Turn it to the right or left. Should be the needle under the clock or near your car's info center. Which car do u drive?

Clock adjustment is the little stick on the right side in the instrument cluster, it clicks to the right and left.

And my seat does the same thing sometimes...except it moves back when i open the car door, and forward to my setup when i put my key in..o_O

Mullmann I can't find that d*MN book otherwise I would have consulted it

No need to get testy, your dealership should be able to order you a book if you can't find yours, or you can get it directly from Volvo.

Fair enough. I'm the camp of those who read the manual cover-to-cover when I get a car, but I know a lot of people don't look too closely at it. In any event, there are a couple of links to the online manual in this thread now, so set up a bookmark and you should be all set.
