Hey, the other day I picked up this Mothers Powerball for Paint. I guess it can be used for applying wax and other detailing products onto your paint safely. It was like $20 i think.

Before I actually use this, do you guys think it would be safe to use on my car for applying liquid wax?

I personally use Wolfgang products... Freakin expensive but wow... The results are amazing. The pads and aids I use I get from autogeek.net But in short... By looking at the picture it looks fine to use... It seems like that's what it was designed for...

Re: Mothers Powerball for Paint (S80-T6_Toronto)

Actually no wax is "pure" carnuba wax... They are all mixed in with different polymers, additives and oils to give the protection and shine that is produced by a quality carnuba based wax... Different wax does different things... Paste based waxes usally provide a "deeper" glossy shine than the liquid counter part as well as durability. Though liquid wax applies much easier and get a true quality product and it will outlast and out shine alot of paste wax. The wolfagang products are one of those that I have found that out about. Although I will detail the car and use the Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0. 24 hours later quick wash to remove any new contaminents then coat with P21s Carnauba Wax. The results are amazing... Plus after all that I get 6 months worth of shine and it usally takes less than 30 minutes and I get that look.
