Moose stickers that is!
After 64,000 miles and 3 3/4 years I finally threw them away. They were looking beat.

But, alas, new ones are on the way!

It just doesn't seem right not to have my prancing moose stickers...especially the yellow ones that contrast so nicely with Sonic Blue.

Re: Moose life span (flybynight)

Mine are just a bit over a year old, still look brand new...but I'm sporting the shield version in silver to match the car and all...

Re: Moose life span (Farbon Ciber5)

I have them with the magnet backing. I completely forgot that I had them until i saw this thread as they haven't been on in awhile. I think it's time to find them and put em back on.

I had them before I had the car. I pulled the car out of the showroom and put them on with my salesman and the rest of the dealership watching me. Got some funny looks which turned into laughs once they saw what they were. So that would make it 2 years and 26,000 miles. http://********************/smile/emthup.gif

Re: You might be Sweded if: (petew)

After what they did to the paint of my first R, I refuse to use them again. I have my pair just sitting in a box... http://********************/smile/emthdown.gif

I don't know what happened with your car.
For 3 1/2 yrs and over 60,000 miles the magnets were on my car. Never a problem. Never a scratch. You could never tell they were on the car. I've been driving around now for 2 weeks without them (I just ordered a new pair) and you cannot tell where they used to sit.
I only took them off to wash and/or wax the car. At that time I would wash the magnets as well. I did make sure both the car and the magnets were dry before putting them back on the car.
Strange. Sorry you had a problem with them.

3.5 yrs and 65,000 miles, I think, is pretty good mileage out of those two magnets. I'm happy and I look forward to my new ones which are slightly different (they have a thin Swedish flag on top to miror the prancing stallion even more accurately!) http://********************/smile/emthup.gif
