This has been a real treat. When I bought this car, I did it without seeing the car first. I assumed it was boring silver, which I do not like, but the light taupe interior would make it tolerable for me. It wasn't in fact silver but "moondust metallic" and it's been really beguiling. In strong light it is a pearly silver or platinum color. In strong overcast, it goes to having champagne highlights in it. In a pretty evening sunset, it takes on rose colors like the sunset. It's neat. This being the PNW, you can go in a store. While you're there, the weather or clouds will change and you'll come outside and the car's a different color than when you went inside. It's pretty amusing to me.
This is it in sunlight:
Today I got some grocery-store sushi and went down to the harbor entrance to enjoy the view, look for some whales (not that common, but it has happened). Got to enjoy the change.
I don't have a sunset picture of it unfortunately.
I didn't see any whales. I did see the biggest salmon I've ever seen in my life, and some fisherman caught a 50' tree. The rootball is just below the harbor light in the pic. They did not seem overjoyed.
(they are actually towing it out in to the Sound, you can't see the line in the pic).
