It becomes too excessive when you sit down and say to yourself one day, "maybe I should stop." Nobody else can tell you how far to take it.

When some guy in with a German accent in a doctor's coat tells you it is time to unpimp your ride and then tosses it 500 ft with a giant catapult.

Re: Mods (Jayam)

I do have to say that while I have no problem with people modding their cars, I do have a soft spot for a well maintained STOCK car that is a couple generations old.
For example, I was just looking on Autopia.org and a guy had a 1995 Acura Legend coupe that he just detailed and posted a bunch of pictures of. This thing still looked brand spanking new, down to the leather on the seats. There were no mods (that I could see), and that includes the stock Bose radio. While it may not hold a candle to some of the systems of today, it just looked rightin that car. I still see some of those generation Legends on the road every now and then, but they were either modded (most not to my taste), or just not taken care of, so to see one in that condition really makes it stand out. Just my 2 cents.

Re: Mods (R_Rated)

I think they become excessive when you could have bought a better car that performs the way you want for the same money (i.e. when the Mods to an R cost more than a Porshe it's time to stop)
