Can someone please point me to instructions on how to replace the signal housing in the mirror structure?

My roommate broke his passenger side signal housing backing out of the garage this morning so now I have to figure out how to replace it.

I did a google search for the part and it seems that only volvowholesaleparts.com carries it, is this a reputable place to buy from? Any other places?

Sorry, I'm familiar with VWs and BMWs and this is my first foray in to the volvo world. Thanks!

I actually had to replace that last year. I just ordered thru my dealership. The part number is 31217289-3 Lens, R.H. and the price was $30.62.

To replace it, you'll need to remove the side view mirror cover which is held in place with a couple of clips. The signal housing slides into a slot in the base of the sideview mirror. The light just pulls out of the lens housing and keep just be plugged into the new one.
