I live in Mint Hill and currently own a 90 245 and a 04 c70 convertible. There is a car show the first Friday evening of every month in the parking lot of Monroe Hardware on Hwy 51 in Mint Hill beginning about 5pm. I would love to see other Charlotte and surrounding area Volvo owners come to this. The next one is this Friday Aug 7. I usually have the only Volvo there. I belong to the Blue Ridge chapter and try to attend their events but this usually means a 2-3 hour trip to get to the Raleigh area. Maybe we could form our own chapter.

There's a huge Volvo group in Charlotte. Lots of C30s that have formed the NC-30 club, but there are plenty of other Volvos who are now part of their group.
