I read a few threads where people said the customer service sucked @ DubStop, so I never tried to contact them. But yesterday Swedespeed member: kpsingh0 received his grille. So I e-mailed them yesterday and got a reply quick!
I asked if the all black grille would fit a 2010 S40.
Reply: Aaron – am not sure yet – it looks identical but have not had any reports on this yet. We do have a perfect return policy so you are not risking anything by trying.
Thanks much
Rus
RUS SLIVINSKY
ph: 617.924.4028
ph: 201.895.1192
fax: 617.848.9932
[email protected]

Yo, kpsingh0 post some pics of the grille that you just got in! Their grill DOES NOT fit the 2008 Volvo so I am guessing 09 and 10 are no goes as well. They told me the same thing and it took me forever to get a reply on how to send it back. I ended up selling it to a SS member a while back just to get it out of my garage.

+1 I got the exact same reply and I too am stuck with a grill that isn't even close to fitting on an '08. I've also had no luck getting a return. It's for fitment on the '04.5 - '07 only. The only company I know of that makes a grill for the '08- is Heico.

C'mon guys, just by looking at the grills between 2004.5-2007 and 2008+ its
kind of obvious that the grill wont fit

Yes it was. However, in their email they specifically said that they would have no problem taking it back for a full refund etc etc etc. So I bought it anyway. Lesson learned.

However, I think there are only a couple people on here that would want one and it would cost more to make than it would be worth. Heico is your best bet. Pricey, but a high quality grille. I have the Heico on my car and love it. Give them a call, see if they will drop the price any. Doesn't hurt to ask, worst they can say is no.

Re: (carreragt7)

Yeah your going to have some major R&D costs for a minimal demand... id ask around how many people are truly interested and start getting money up front or deposits for some of these projects to cut down on your own personal cost...
Wanna start a shop together lol? Re: (ForceFed Motorsports)

I actually am thinking of running my own design business after I graduate, but I might have to work somewhere for a while first. The R&D is expensive, that is for sure. People never really think about all of the time and money put into designing and producing a product.

Re: (ForceFed Motorsports)

I think the author was hoping he didn't get too many copy cats because it really wouldn't be that hard. Maybe it is because I have torn my car apart a bunch so that would be an easy project for me personally, but removing the stock grill and applying mesh would be super easy. As KP said, all of the grilles look like crap from the inside because they just bend the mesh around it and glue it on. My Heico is just like that. I am actually replacing my mesh with something else, I'll let people know if it is hard to do or not.
