I know this isn't the audio forum, but I figure someone on here should have had some sort of run in with what's happend to my radio with their OEM "premium audio" system. And I figure you guys wouldn't troll the audio forums that much.<p>So, in my wagon, all the speakers work, except for the ones in the right front and rear doors. I just got the car that way, and I've poked around and found nothing out of ordinary. No wires seem to be crimped in the doors like they've done on previous cars, because volvo has a nice wire shroud at the hinge.<p>I'm at a loss. Anyone had this happen?

Probably bad speakes, they DO crap out from years of door slamming<br>You HAVE <B>pulled out</B> the <U>volume knob, <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/rolleyes.gif" BORDER="0"> </U>twist and adjust the side to side balance ?????<br>Check that first

balance and fader are centered. pulled the radio out and checked the wiring. stuck my hand back and felt around the amp...wires seemed good. next thing is to take out the speakers and check connection there (finally found a thread for that...whew!). Maybe magnets fell off?

If you can figure out which wires are the speaker wires, you can touch a battery (like a AAA battery, not a car battery) to them and they will make noise, if they do, that means they're connected and they're not getting a signal.
