I have a US-Spec vehicle and now living in a non-US location. I recently lost control of my radio and wanted to see if reloading the software would fix the issue. I had the vehicle diagnosed before I left the US, and it was identiied tha the AUM was the issue. I don't have the paperwork on hand but I believe the code is AUM-10XX related to the software. The issue I am running into is the local dealer claims that when the vehicle is physically connected to VIDA/DICE, they can't see it or do anything becuase it is US-Spec. I am looking for guidance on how to manually access a vehicle in VIDA and force a S/W download to the AUM. It is the cheapest route outside of replacing the unit. You will probably have to find a more skilled and friendly dealer to get the software.
With a three day Vida subscription you might be able to program it yourself, but I've heard rumours that a dealer will have to order the software for you anyway.
I don't know if you can change partner group with a subscription.
