Re: Lowering S60 2.4t AWD (Chilled Man)

Dropped my 2007 AWD on some KW variant 2 coilovers.
Multiple pics in my build thread: http://forums.swedespeed.com/z...age=3
Front is now about 2 fingers and rear is just under 2 fingers wheel gap. This is after about a month, so its probably fully settled now. My buddy runs KWs on his 04 STI and I checked his wheel gap and its pretty much the same is mine on the KWs.
Its not totally slammed like shagginwagon but he just did springs with a cut coil if i remember right. Be ready for like -2 degrees camber in the rear. Front alignment is in spec though. I think its a good ride height unless you want SLAMMED
Oh if you do the IPD rear camber kit for AWD...make sure you find an Indy or a Volvo dealer with a good press to get the bushings out. Firestone couldn't do my kit so I'm still running the negative camber and just gonna rotate tires for now like shaggin has been doing.

I think shagginwagon did his AWD on Eibachs. I could be wrong. Try and bug him for some pics

The rear kind of sucks to do but it's easy if you just think it out. You have vadis so no problem there. I wouldn't go as far to say that I'm slammed but there is less than a finger wheel gap in the rear if you cur one coil. I'm on eibachs btw. S60R springs would work too so if you wanted to go evolve S60R springs for an even lower stance that's an option.

he just wants to drop the rear end to meet up with the front more so going to install a set of used S60R rear springs and go from there.
Thanks

Aren't the R springs too soft without the 4C shocks?
I recall JRL was praising T5 front springs together with H&R rears, when he had his AWD before the R came out.

The ride is nice, but i'd rather have a stiff ride than a soft ride.
