Yeah, you dont need a tranny jack at all for this job, I thought. It's not like that mount is the only thing holding the tranny in there. There is this thing called an engine, to which the trans is bolted to rather securely.

I was able to stick my head under the front bumper and replace it

you can fit?!?!?! ok.......well that would make it easy! but you guys didnt have to use a stand for the transmission? might give this a try then!

much ado about nothing.<p><br>Lift the front of the vehicle, unbolt the old one, and bolt the new on in place. 15 minutes.
