I have a 1974 164E, and the lower A-arm bushings need to be replaced. I checked ipd and they've got them for the 140 . . .
Are the lower A-arm bushings the same for the 140 and 164?
And for that matter, are all the front suspension bushings the same between the two models?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Lower A-arm bushings? (R Salesman)

Lower bushings, sway bar bushings, and both upper and lower ball joints are the same as a late-'69 and onwards 140. Upper bushings and most of the steering parts are different other than the center tie rod ends.

Thanks for the help guys.
I think I'm going to order up the complete polyurethane bushing kit for the front end from ipd see here. Obviously I'll confirm with the ipd guys that everything in the kit will work on the 164.
