Hey, folks. Quick question.

I had read that when you replaced the battery a reset in VIDA was required.

My device arrived today and I was playing with my laptop.

I didn't see anything obvious about resetting the battery life inside VIDA.

However, I did see an old low battery voltage code that dates prior to the new battery. Out of curiosity, I double clicked to learn more details.

Anyway, it was a one time thing and I lost interest.

I might have navigated VIDA for a total of 15 minutes with the car off, but ignition in position 2 as required.

When I unplugged everything I finally saw the low voltage warning on my dash.

My question is this: did investigating my code trigger it or did 15 minutes of goofing off really drain the battery that low?

Car fired up fine and battery voltage was 12.3 V when I checked later.

They recommend charging a battery while using vida. At least that’s what my dealer does.

The car should be on a charger or running when using VIDA.

BMS reset should be under Diagnostics>Vehicle Communication>CEM>Activations
