quote:
darn it, wrong year for the Euros.

I'd have them already if they were the correct ones.
Putting the older e-codes on the '86+ 240 would take a lot of work. Have to change the turn signals, so that means changing the fenders, and then I think the grille would have to be the '85 or older, so you have to change the hood, which won't fit with the cowl so you have to cut and weld the old style. I want a flathood on mine with the newer e-codes, which is almost as much work and it's not really worth it.

the older grill is easily made to fit, and i was going to keep the 87 turnsignals, but just make a bracket to mount them to the car, as opposed to using the mounting plate

Re: lots of cool 240 stuff (ladrillo)

well, i don't have a dig camera, so no pics yet. actually, she looks like a stock 87 wagon, pale yellow, but with mickey thompson slicks stuffed under the rear wheelwells i made the car to autocross and dragrace with, hence the adjustable suspension. it takes about an hour to switch the suspension over. 600lb 8" fronts to 400lb 10" front springs. i run ipd coils for autox, and will switch to sedan springs for the drags. currently still sorting the car out, just got the dual side exit exhaust completed, just need to wire up the electric fan. battery is mounted in the rear wheel well, interior is gutted, lexan windows....

What class will you be running in? Street Mod, or one of the other Modified classes?
