I was thinking about installing flame throwers, but a reliable source has strongly recommended against it. His exact words were:
"Strongly recommend against it. Fun, yes. Working through your wiring harness and splicing some sort of momentary ignition kill--nightmare."
This is the one I was looking at:
http://www.eatmyflames.com/

You know, the one on the Mustang looks almost cool with the afterburner glow look.
Maybe on your truck it would be a better match.

Frank...no, please don't.
I know modding is addicting but this would be crossing the line, which incidentally you are quite close to already.
Please, do not become a ricer......

Man, you seriously need to get a bike.
Then you would never waste time thinking about flamethrowers for a VOLVO.

Just get a secondary fuel pump and reservoir. You have the exhaust providing the pressure, so all you have to do is throw some fuel into the stream and ignite it. It'll burn fine because it's mixing with ambient air by time it could possibly use up the rest of the o2 in the exhaust stream.
Besides, this way, you can really make it a flame thrower.

Now THAT is a smooooth shirt.
I have seen guys run either TPI fuel injectors into the exhaust or propane nozzles with a tank in the trunk as an alternate source for fuel for flame throwers. when done right, they shoot flames about 30' out the back. I saw one guy set fire to the stage at a car show once.
If done wrong, it makes a really expensive pop. More of a boom, actually....
