Is it another promo car for BSR? Seems like the guy has every possible aftermarket parts available for the S60 on his car. MS Design bodykit and all....also noticed that 'MR' sticker in the back. Is he the owner or somehow relate to that Swedish shop?
Saw the site before, but nothing in English.

WOW! It looks like that car was tuned by 'Mr. Sweden' correct? Gotta love that boost pressure guage integrated into the information display. Nice looking car.
-Drew

Lots of pics on his site.
I'm pretty sure the car has huge brakes, sachs suspension, h&R springs, about everything performance and convenience add on. The car does 0-63 in 5.88 sec 50-111 in 10 and tops at 165 not too shabby. I think its for sale for 29K U.S
Rich S.
True, there would be a couple of things that I would change on the car. I would take off the tail-light blackouts, headlight eye-lids, and the black interior trim. I would keep the wheels, MS-Design, tint the windows a bit, and of course keep that 319 ponies! Yahoo!
-Drew

Looks a little familiar :)
I'm surprised he can get the car under 6 seconds with the lousy tracktion of the S60.
Best I get most of the time is 7 seconds.
Vey nice rear and very nice front but I can't get used to the MS-Design side skirts.

Yah, the rear lights look a bit too dark.
The car would look awesome tinted black, but I guess its not really needed in a country where is practically dark for half a year!
Rich S.

I am sure your car can brake the 6-sec mark. I don't know how fast my car is but last week a guy with a BMW 330i (don't know what year it was) tried to "stick" it to me in three stoplights in a row...In every light he jumped me but once I was in 2nd gear, he was looking at my T5 label...he was a good sport, though...After the 3rd light, he pulled next to me and we chatted for a minute while waiting for the light; he was amazed at how quick my wagon was and I told him my little secret, courtesy of iPd.
Magazine have rated the 330 at about 6.1 secs (0-60)...I beat him (not easily but very clearly), so Kai... I definitely think you are below 6secs...with all the stuff that you have installed. But it's OK trying to play opposum! Hehehehehe

Yannis

The car has been sold, wow only took 2 days.
Kai I imagine your car is under 6 sec. Mine does it in 5.70.
I too have raced a 330. I worked him good, didn't have a chance, then I served it up again at the next light and he wouldn't even look over at me and didn't even try!
I feel good when I only have $23K in my car and kick the #ss of MUCH more expensive cars.
Rich S.

George,
That car has been tested by 3 German car mags, but is not published yet. I'll see what I can do.
Rich
[This message has been edited by Thor's Hammer (edited 03-01-2002).]

I have the turbo pressure display in my S60 also.
I bought it with a group purchase at VVSPY.
SCT was the supplier.
It can do BAR and PSI and works by plugging it in to the ODB-II port, 2 second job.
It has to be activated by pushing the message button every time you start the car.

I'm not much of a stop light racer nowadays..don't intend to kill this weak tranny again. If I do play with others, more or less on rolling starts. So, maybe a 5~60mph test is more realistic to me. LoL..then again sometimes it's hard not to keep on going after I get up to 60 mph.
Pretty much what these cars are at their best...
Yeah, played with this 330Ci the other night at the deserted part of Shady Grove(please no flame, not a kill story)...it was not even a competition AT ALL. I'm sure the guy was trying hard...but it was just not pretty for him. I was able to spank him, then brake and let him have 1 car space lead, then spank him again. Almost felt like what I did with my friend's GSR before I had all these work done on it.
Tested by GERMAN car mag, eh? Not even American car mag wanna test my car.
