Anywhere in Minnesota would be convenient for me lol. Should we do the middle of North America? Like Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois,or Iowa?

South Carolina would be great, that way we can kill 2 birds with 1 stone since my wife has always wanted to go to Charleston!

Charleston is great. My inlaws have really good friends that live ON the Battery. I've never been to their house, but when you're there, you can imagine how much that must cost. Pretty city, and a great are to visit.
I've voted for this option too, as I have family in Bluffton/Beaufort area.

My vote is on SC just because my proximity being a Volvo Trucks employee in NC, plus NJ traffic boo.

I vote Charleston as well. Beautiful city, great food -- wouldn't mind touring the new factory if we could.

I'm going to repeat what I said when someone first started discussing this on Facebook:

I think people underestimate how many cars 600 is. I can't imagine anywhere in Rockleigh near Volvo HQ where that many cars would be able to move in a parade.

600 cars is a lot, no doubt. Something to consider for those of you who've been: Saab at spring Carlisle has over 200 cars a year. They take up the most room at the fairgrounds easily (something like 4 rows @ 1/2-3/4 mile long).

Perhaps we could do this at Carlisle for ease of parking and somewhat central location? Granted I'm all fine with nj since it's in my backyard and it is a fitting location given the factory is there... but you make a valid point...jersey traffic and small cities close together is already terrible enough without adding 600 more vehicles to the mix.

The North Charleston Coliseum is nearly the only thing near the plant (which is about 20 minutes away) that could host an event like this. It’s just south of Charleston International Airport where the new Boeing 787s are made, if you’re in to that type of thing as well

Patriots Point, Mt Pleasant,

Patriots Point, Mt Pleasant, would be perfect for a rendezvous sight, with multiple hotels in the area. In addition, we would go across the Ravenel Bridge, great for pictures, and we could queue up nicely. 600 is ALOT of cars, we would need an escort, Mt. Pleasant or SLED.
