Nothing exciting like DP's, FMIC's, springs, etc., but as a DIY guy, I like to tinker with wiring and other gadgets too. I hate wires, all this stuff is hard-wired in for that OEM look like the Volvo Nuvi I did last year...

Hella TC-400 TPMS. Dead-on accurate. These are a great add-on.

Cobra XRS R9 Radar detector remote mount. Got tired of the windshield-mounted version. Fits perfect on the dash.

Close-up of the radar detector and GPS box.

Another view of the boxes. They can barely be seen from my seat.

Re: (tomedkaz)

Does the TPMS make an audible warning or just a visual...or both?
Not bad....my set up is all hardwired as well right into the overhead console

Re: (sacrifice)

Wired the radar detector in to the fuse box to the left of the dash. Ran the cord along the top of the windshield (under the ceiling trim) then down inside the A-pillar.

The TPMS is wired into the switched power behind the radio - the main plug has hot, switched, and ground - worked perfect. It makes an audible beep if a signal is lost or if anything goes out of range. It's a nice unit and if you are really anal, the display has multiple colors to it.

The cover that my radar detector control is mounted on is the pop-out cup holder. I didn't like the hole there and it turned out to be a perfect place for the controller. Gotta' love Velcro!
