Just wondering if there is some way to set the forum threads to go to the last read post.

That would be so much easier than having to scroll through several pages of a long thread to find the point where you last visited.

What I'm asking is:

Is it possible to add some button like this one to make it easier to go to the last unread post in a thread?

We are upgrading the site to a newer version of the forum software - I'll see if that's an option.

Chris - have you been on V70R.com? WHen I login, I just hit new threads, and I get a list of all new posts / threads since I last logged in.

Of course, this could be large for SS..... But maybe you could set which forums were returned in your user control panel?

Some Swedespeeders visit often others seldom - tough call on "last unread post in a thread" - like the thermos - how do it know?

Keeps a record of all posts since your last login.

Normal users can already get this on Swedespeed through the profile search.

"...last UNREAD post..." and "last READ post..." are not possible.

I'll use the 'Sightings Post' on the R Forum as an example:

Currently there is 14 pages in the thread. It would be nice to be able to click on the 'last unread post'' button to go to where I had last visited the thread, rather than have to try and figure out which page has the last post that I had read.
