Apparently laminated side windows on certain models are available for European Volvos but not for American ones (based on online research, American V90s have them but not American XC60s, apparently; however European XC60s do). Can one order such windows for OSD cars for American-bound models? As a prospective XC60 shopper I would like to take better advantage of the incredible sound system by reducing wind noise.

No. OSD cars are built to the spec of the destination market.

Thank you! I read your comments when I was looking this stuff up. I was asking because people had been able to get Pilot Assist installed without the package through OSD. I haven't heard otherwise, but is there a chance that Volvo has started putting those windows on in later model years, such as 2020? Volvo tends to make small incremental improvements over time like that.

At least in my 2020 V90 RD the laminated windows are standard
