Has anyone installed this, on a AWD especially?
Did you just have to do an alignment afterward or was a camber kit needed?

Re: KW Variant 2 coilovers (stealthS60AWD)

I have had them on my FWD for about a year now. The camber (plus the height) on the front struts are adjustable, so no problem there
The backs did not drop all that far and they are not height adjustable either. I have the alignment results in my car but I am traveling for the rest of the week to the best of my recollection my camber is like 1 deg, neg on one rear and neg 3 on the second, but that might not be totally accurate
The camber did end up being within spec and you cannot visually detect any neg camber at all
Re: KW Variant 2 coilovers (jstro)

Ive had them on my s602.4t for 4 years, I thought is was just mine that didnt lower the rear at all.
people from KW told that it should lower the rear 1.5in. after many calls to different places like eurosporttuning, KW, Ipd... I gave up on it, well eventurally I gave up on my volvo as well.
however, I dont think you will run into this problem since the rear on the AWD kit are adjustable.
here are some pictures of mine after KWv2 installed
stock body ( notice the rear ride weight with subwoofers in the trunk )

with bodykit on (with removed back seats, spare tire and subwoofers, the rear still look stock compare to the stock s60 in the picture)

this is how it look

Re: KW Variant 2 coilovers (stealthS60AWD)

Can't you order different spring rates that will lower it a little bit more. I'm not really knowledgeable on coilovers and lowering springs but I thought I've heard of people using different spring rates to get a more aggressive stance and little bit more stiffening. Has anyone talked to KW about the ride height issues for the Volvo S60??

u could probably use some aftermarket springs in the rear to get the drop (won't be slammed obviously) and adjust the dampeners accordingly. Can't wait till the OP installs as I've been waiting to see an AWD with coilovers.

Wow, i really thought that they would have been much lower in the rear, that's actually really disappointing. Why would nearly $2000 coilovers not be adjustable? That just seems like a scam to me...
trgft - I assume you sold your car?

rear spring perches? they dont even exist on FWD kit.
I still do have my S60 in my garage, I drove about 50 miles in the last 3 year. I wanted to trun it into a RWD with a VQ or 2JZ, or AWD with 4G63.

I would have expected a good 2 - 2.5 inch drop capability with the KWs in the rear. Time to rethink the headache it would be to place these on an R with 4c.

Re: (trgft)

ehh sorry not spring perches...but I thought there was some degree of adjustability to the rear springs? Something that sits between the spring and spring seat. Maybe I'm mistaken.

They should be height adjustable as awd rear setup is strut/spring so lower spring perch should be adjustable. Advertised up to 2.5" drop.
