So she's running good ? The exhaust sound is amazing on these cars when you get on it. Sounds so different between my S70 and S60

So today while backing it to the garage I LOST reverse WTF, Car drives fine forward no issues. When I select R car does not move and I hear wine, I will do Vida scan tomorrow for codes. Should I do grain and fill ( I did that 300 miles ago). How about Lucas trans fix? Anything I can check or look for another trans?

Update.
I'm scrapping the idea of auto trans replacement and going with M56H swap. I know no more AWD and I'm fine with that. Auto trans 127k miles replacement I've picked up it is for sale if someone is interested .
Got manual swap from @Zoinks (thanks mate). Picked up FWD steering rack from 04 C70 in local JY. Started removing prop shaft, angle gear. More to come. Chicago weather is not helping, Wish me luck.

Good move only going through this once. Grab a FWD front subframe and delta link while you're at it. Pro tip: split the engine wiring harness at the ECU box so you can modify it out of the car.

I completely forgot about C70 subframe as JY was closing and I ran out of time and I'm sure it is gone now. No time to go back and check it out. I like the idea of splitting the engine wiring harness.
Thanks

C70s still use the same 4 bolt control arms as every P80 AWD. Biggest upgrade that the C70 convertible subframe offers is solid aluminum subframe bushings. After that it's maybe the triangulated bracing on the subframe itself, but if you're going FWD then you could run the large U/horseshoe brace that all vert C70s came with as well for maximum chassis stiffness.

That rear brace makes a nice difference. My squeaky dash got a lot quieter after I put it on my 99.

Are you talking about Robert being in town? He posted another video about the R seats he pulled, where he says he’s at John’s place (in Indiana). Not that he couldn’t be helping both guys, but not a given. Of course, maybe you have additional information. I’m usually not in the loop about anything! 🤣

Just a short update. Auto trans is out M56 and all components are in. What a bumpy road that was. I should have spent more time on research before jumping in to the swap. Big thanks to few members here for answering my questions and sharing tips.

I have couple things/issues I am fighting with:

1. still looking for a angle flange downpipe as AWD can not be used.
2.I can not bump the starter after connecting green and green/red wires together from transmission wires pack. I verified starter is good and grounds are connected. Any suggestions if I missed anything?

More to come hopefully soon.
