93 850 GLT HAS A LOUD POPPING SOUND WHEN REAR SUSPENSION IS COMPRESSED. FOR EXAMPLE WHILE TURNING INTO A DRIVEWAY. I READ NSOMEWHERE THAT ANOTHER 850 OWNER USED SEVERAL WASHERS IN COORDINATION WITH THE REAR SUSPENSION TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM. ANY SIMILAR STORIES OR SUGGESTIONS POR FAVOR?
On the keyboard, kind of to the left side, there is a button "Caps Lock". Press that button once, then re-type the message and people might read it.

haha Kaizai, explain it to the man!
Well, sinse no one has replied I'll throw in my two cents despite my only suspension wrench time has been on my old motocross bike years ago. Messing with the washers in the suspension sounds like re-valving a shock if there is any similarities between a RM80 front fork and a car shock. That is not to cure any mechanical problems but to control the oil flow for dampening. I don't think you would washer anything in the linkages as this would change the geometry of the suspension design.
I've never heard of this Kerplunk sound before, either your shock is badly toast or you have some debris caught in the spring or linkages. That's my best guess.
