Hello everyone!
I'm new to the Swedespeed forums and just wanted to say hello. I had been considering buying an S60R for several months and have utilized a lot of information from this forum in making my decision.
As of tomorrow I am the proud new owner of a 2007 S60R. It's "Electric Silver" with the Nordkap blue leather. I'm extremely excited to pick the car up and start putting some miles on it!
My new R has 20k on the "clock" and still has 80k and 5 years left on the warranty. I think I got a pretty decent deal on it. The car is in near perfect condition, has the upgraded audio/sunroof package and I got it for $29499.
Are there any little tid-bits of information that a new R owner should know? I intend on performing all maintenence myself so if anyone has some good info on what the best oil is to use, best place to get filters and that sort of thing, I would appreciate hearing what others are doing. I apologize in advance if there is already a thread with this information, I haven't yet found any.
Again, I look forward to chatting it up with everyone and hopefully as I become more knowledg able about these fine cars I will be able to contribute as well!

There is a TNN for the removal now as well, so you could even get your delaer to do it for you when you pick it up (or beforehand). The exhaust bracket doesn't actually hold anything in place and if snagged on a speed bump will bend up, shoving the exhaust into the driveshaft that is gonig to the rear wheels and cause $$$$ in damage.
I'm sure if you google search for exhaust braket you'll come across many threads on it, including pics and the exact TNN #.
Enjoy! and congrats!
