In the new Ruby Red Metallic. Now the new color is very similier to the old Regent Red. No visible changes on the exterior, only interior change was the "Volvo" insignia on the wheel, IMO, much richer. It did have the telematic on-call, I will believe this when we see it on a production car. I saw it on a 02 and we were told it would be out, yeah, right
. It didn't have the switch-blade key, I was told it would be a running change, again, believe it when I see it.

What about the engine, did anything change.
Could you take out the ECU to look at the version used???

So the steering wheel, does it have the new Volvo log with blue section for the script, just like the XC90?

Just drove this car, today for about 6-7 miles. Although the engine was the 2.5L, it did not feel very different than the current 2.3L set-up. It did have a little more low end torque and the Geartronic felt (could be just my head) a bit crisper but other than that nothing else.

The integrated key pad was neat! Made several telephone calls and the quality of each connection was anywhere from above average to excellent. As you dial, you can see the numbers on the message center screen. There are also two button, beneath the key pad, labeled "ON CALL" and "SOS", respectively. You just push either one in and hold for 2 seconds to make the connection to either Volvo-On-Call or the EMERGENCY.

I loved the new insignia on the steering wheel. I want one! Neat.

The integrated telephone will be, initially, offered as an option on 2003 S60 and V70 T5s and standard on the S80 T6s. Later, on XC90s.

This car was a very early 2003 model, under the hood the factory sticker had no information and the intake was modified, in comparison to that of current models.

The Ruby Red Metallic is a very rich color. Better than Venetian Red in respect to its depth. Has that rich, deep red hue.

You can see the keypad on the pics of the S60R. They'll be up on the 4th.
