Just put a deposit on the new C70 to replace my S80. The dealer sold their entire 06' allocation before any cars were available for delivery. They were unwilling to sell/lease at anything other than full MSRP. Anyone find otherwise with their negotiations? I opted for everything except navigation. If the lease price is too outrageous, I might opt out.

Agreed but, at 45K+ the C70 isn't the only game in town. Considering this will be my third Volvo from this dealer I expected some kind of discount. I am generally reasonable when obtaining a new car; the dealership is entitled to make some money. On this transaction they will have several thousand over invoice, not including any rollback money so throw me a bone

Volvo dealers (and most other new car dealers) have been literally giving away new cars now for a couple of years, so when a new model arrives that there actually is a waiting list for, they're going to make MONEY so stay alive and in business.
Buy something else (cheap) for a year, by then, (with your prior realationship), you should be able to buy it for $500-$750 over invoice
