Re: (makonyy15)

how does it sound? was there any power gain? other than price and specific design, whats the difference between the magnflow and, say, the bsr one

i have the same muffler on...
sounds great. In terms of any power gain, it's minimal. My car felt a little more peppy, but nothing else. Magnaflow mufflers are wide open mufflers, so of course the air flow is better.
There's no point in comparing the Magnaflow to the BSR, and all the other mufflers/exhaust. I mean, come on, it's a 130 dollar muffler.

Anyone wanna snap some pictures of their magnaflow system from underneath the car? I want to compare it to the stock system and wonder how much room I have down there. I'm thinking of playing around with the exhaust .. you'll see.

here's a pic... if you need some more, go to page three on this forum and the thread is called "new pics... grille, muffler, etc."

Re: (Dygitalpmp)

Thank you so much.
The reason why I'm asking is because I'm trying to get as little pressure bends as possible, since I have the AWD. The stock AWD system has so many bends on the exhaust, due to the rear axle design. Magnaflow carries pre-bent mandrel pipes for cheap which I'm considering, so the muffler shop won't have to crush/pressure bend them.
The FWD has less bends on the exhaust pipes, but the rear design is similar.
