June 21 2009 - The 53nd Annual Newport Motor Car Festival

The 53nd Annual Newport Motor Car Festival sponsored by the Portsmouth Rotary Club and the Viking chapter of the Veteran Motor Car Club of America will be held on Father's Day, June 21st. This year, the Rotary Club will be awarding first and second places to classic Volvos 25 years or older in their own class.

The awards will be based on a walk through by car buffs appointed by the Rotary. The Boston/Merrimack Valley Chapter VCOA plans to attend the event as a group. Show is being held on the lawns of the Portsmouth Abbey School overlooking beautiful Narragansett bay. Volvo's will all be parked together!
