So, I was playing around last week and, after buying replacements in a lot of 240 parts off of ebay, I bought some aluminum silver paint and painted the center line dash trim on the 240. I'll post pics soon enough on it, in a future update on the project car, but it looks pretty good.
Basically, it's the same setup that the 93 240 classics have, only they have wood. I've been looking for an aluminum kit for the car, but no one seems to make one that is REAL aluminum, so I decided that painted matte silver is just as good as faux plastic silver.
The chrome inserts pop right out, and look good accenting the matte silver paint. Pretty cool.
Total cost outlay was $9 for the paint and I'm not counting the extra trim pieces, because I didn't need them.
