There are two small bars under on each side by the doors.<br>Are these used for jacking ?<p>I saw the threads for the large jack points by the wheel, but if I use these to jack then where do i put the jack stand ?<p>I have a pic of the points but can't figure out how to post them.

I prefer using the front cross-member to lift both front wheels. Use a plate or plywood to keep your jack from denting the cross-member.<p>Front Jack stands here:<p><IMG SRC="http://www.r-series.org/jim/frontjack.jpg" BORDER="0"><p>Use the factory points on the side for the back. If you use a non-Volvo jack (I always do) again, use a piece of wood.<p>Rear Jack Stands here:<p><IMG SRC="http://www.r-series.org/jim/backjack.jpg" BORDER="0"><p>
