Don't forget to get a 4 wheel alignment...that front passenger wheel looks a little out of whack.
I hope whoever was in that car made it, though if there was a passenger he/she might be banged up pretty bad, or worse. Hope not.
Any idea what caused the accident from looking at the pics? It looks like a rear and right side impact from two different sources.

my guess...
someone rear ended this guy pushing him onto train tracks, only to get hit by a train (not too fast)

Re: (phuz)

I'm not surprised stuff is gone. I think that someone posted this about 4 months ago. I'm surprised any of it is still there!

Interesting. Obviously a crushing side impact like a tree or pole but there's also a significant but less severe pole type impact in the rear (too small / acute to be a tree.) Whatever it was I can't see the rear impact happening after the side unless something hit the car after the side impact.
You can definitely see that the spare tire is indeed part of the safety system for rear impacts here.
No way to tell so my SWAG is the driver lost traction on a curve, went sideways into oncoming traffic where the car was t-boned and it came to rest with the rear end hitting a pole? Who knows.
