When washing the car, I see the side marker lamps in the front 1/4 panel filling up with water when I spray them, then running out. Seems like electrical stuff should be waterproof, but it does it on both sides, so I guess it's designed that way?

Re: Is this normal? (Zerific)

I have noticed this too. Hopefully spraying the soapy water out won't cause it to malfunction at some point...

Me too! 7 months and going! I only have one side that does it. I wonder if a new O ring would cure it?

Re: Is this normal? (Zerific)

For some reason anytime the wifes R goes threw a car wash, when it comes out the headligths are pointing way down and I have to take it to the dealer to have it adjusted. They keep telling me the carwash can not be causing it but it happens everytime.

It's funny... I noticed the same thing lately now that spring is here and I wash the car myself. It bothered the heck out of my on my 01 S60. I didn't want to post!
