Re: Is this a good lease? (hewinutah)

Does Utah have a personal property tax? If so, it is included in the payment or billed separtely? Finally....try googling "lease calculation tables" and run some #'s.

If the info you provided is accurate...I would say that this is not a Volvo Fin lease and probably DOES NOT include any pers. prop tax.
A residual of $16,664 is 40%???...that is low! Volvo uses 51%. Makes a big difference in the payment. Ask for a Volvo Finance lease quote. You should get @ the same payment with ALL the taxes.

The doc fee is low because I think he is confusing this lease a little with an x-plan lease. I wont tell if you wont

Re: Is this a good lease? (hewinutah)

I am certainly no expert on anything except OSD and North Carolina Lease programs( and sometimes that is even suspect )....but I don't see why they can't give you a Volvo Fin quote...just so you can compare. The Volvo residuals are higher and the money factors may vary from US Bank...but giving you an option is certainly no threat!.
Never heard of "theft deterrant registration".....I am not going to speculate as to what uit migt be...but proceed with "eyes open" and make your decisons accordingly!

Re: Is this a good lease? (hewinutah)

hewinutah..............
FYI....The lease you described is certainly not a "bad" proposal...but I would look at all the available programs and ask whether the theft deterrant deal is required. Also...ask the fin mgr if he participates in Volvo's Driver Care Program. The cost is @$260 and a much better bang for the buck for road hazard/tire and rim replacement...vs a theft deterent reg....that's what your auto ins is for!
Just a thought!
