This is probably for one of the moderators.<p>Is it possible to simply change my username? Or does this basically require re-registering the new username?<p>When I go to "My Profile", the personal profile link implies that you can change your username. But when you go there, the username is "fixed", and not in an editable box.<p>My reason for this is as follows: As a general practice I am wanting to get away from using a username that is basically my actual name, for privacy reasons. I'm intending to do this on all of the several forums that I participate in. After I make the change I'll probably mention my old username in any postings for a little while, to avoid confusion, and for continuity's sake.<br>

I don't blame him for being upset. But I removed all personal info from the site. He's sick. Unfortunately, there are some sick people out there. A very very small %, but all it takes is one.
