We are getting ready for a production run of our Ipd custom lowering springs for FWD 850 and S/V 70 models.
Would love some input on what folks would like to see in a lowering spring.
We could of course do a run of both 1.25" and 1.75" but the retail cost would likely be $350 vs. $250, a single choice with higher production quantity would be best.
Given our current offerings of both H&R and Eibach springs that lower approx 1.5" we though offering a different choice might be desirable.
Thanks all for your input!
Stock:

1.25" drop

1.75" drop

Modified by Ipd-Lucky at 11:17 AM 9-25-2008

Re: Ipd lowering springs, your input needed! (Ipd-Lucky)

The OEM shot looks as if the car is slightly up on the loft, I've NEVER seen one that high off the ground

Re: Ipd lowering springs, your input needed! (Ipd-Lucky)

I voted for 1.25" I have the TME springs (1.25") and even added spring adjusters at rear. For me that is perfect and I don't have too many issue with scraping the spoiler. I tend to load up the car so the extra height helps with that. You need to put some 17s or 18s on that car for a better perspective. Purely for looks I would go lower. To live with every day -> 1.25"
-Ted

1.75 at least! I got H&r's that have been trimmed slightly and I can barely fit my hand between the top of tire and fender in front and not at all in the rear. IN spring I am swapping for KW variant II to go lower. Putting it on the ground (almost)

keep the front a hair lower (1/4") so that the rear doesn't have the "saggy" appearance with the "flat" rear fender arch.
1.75" looks good

Thanks for the feedback everyone.
We'll be tallying all the input and will likely make a decision in the next week or so.
Production units ~6 weeks out.

You guys just want to go lower and lower, as if these cars don't ride hard enough.

I'm going to wait on some reviews before I jump on these...but I know my S70 will look a heck of a lot nicer with these!
