Re: IPD iPod Adapter Group Buy! 10% off and free shipping! (phuz)

Do you know if one of these adaptors would work on the 2006 c70? I'm trying to hook up an xm radio and with the radio unit in the trunk, and apparently no line out to hardwire the xm unit to the radio, this is a real problem. Any idea of ipd has a solution? Thanks.

I'd also love to know if the IPD iPod adpater will work for a 2006 C70. Every other forum seems to say the there is not connectivity option for an '06 C70 other than the FM transmitter. If this works, why does eveyone not seem to know about it. Is it difficult to install?

The guys at Tweeters (stereo store) came up with a great fix for the xm radio problem. They ran a wireless FM modulator with an MP3 output back to the radio in the trunk. The modulator sits next to the radio unit, so there is very little distance for the FM signal to travel. Then, you run the MP3 output from the trunk into the xm radio unit. It is not perfect, but it is much better than using the wireless FM in the xm radio itself because the distance the signal has to travel is so much less. Give it a shot.
