With 90K miles, I had my spring seats replaced with recent service. There is noticable renewed firmness to the front end with this $100 upgrade (plus labor).<br>Old seat top<br><IMG SRC="http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s212/b5v2000/09May18001.jpg" BORDER="0"><br>New seat top<br><IMG SRC="http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s212/b5v2000/09May18006.jpg" BORDER="0"><br>New seat bottom<br><IMG SRC="http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s212/b5v2000/09May18005.jpg" BORDER="0"><br>Old seat bottom, Manufactured Oct 05.<br><IMG SRC="http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s212/b5v2000/09May18023.jpg" BORDER="0"><br>Rubber is starting to fail. Re: ipd HD spring seats installed (Lightspeed)

90k miles - those look damn good. <p>I have seen some that looked like a pit bull not only attacked said spring seat but also tried to mate with it...<p>I am definitely going with the HD seats along with some lowering springs, very soon.
