Just saw this IPD Grill for the 2001-07 V70R. i was eyeballing that sexy number earlier as well! However, i spent most of my time watching the clip that shows how to easily remove the stock grille (so i can just paint that instead <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/biggrin.gif" BORDER="0"> )

The part number description says "S60RMB Mesh Grille"...<p>The banner says "Volvo V70/XC70 2001-2007 » Custom Grille"<p>The fitment/application notes say: "V70 R models 2004-2007 only"<p>Can't be all that. It can either fit the '04- Rs (whether sedan or wagon) or not. It can't be both xc and 2nd-gen R compatible. <p>Someone from iPd is going to chime in here...

You should 100% make both for the Rs you would sell the hell out of them especially at those prices!!!!!!

Thanks Lucky....let us know<p>This is How im thinking about modding my stock grille but if i could buy one as such and keep the stocker for when/if i sell would be nice<p>Black surround to match the mouldings (04) and the silver mesh to stand out a lil and/or match the headlights (in my case stand out some as i am about to paint my headlight bezels black<p>I think the black surround with SS mesh (not chrome) would look great with an IPD or R logo in the bottom right <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/wink.gif" BORDER="0">

Update: Well, I went ahead and bought the grille. There are holding it at there shop on will call for me to pick up on Friday. It will probably be Saturday before I get pics up. Going to Sportfight at the Rose Garden so I won't be getting home till midnight or so.<p>Matt
