Has anyone else noticed that the number of parts for 140-series Volvos has pretty much dwindled down to u-joints, ignition components, and other sundries? I am needing things such as urethane suspension bushings (complete for front and rear), truck shocks, etc., yet IPD no longer carries them. I would think that the trend would be to drop support for the older older cars (such as 1800, 544 and 122) first rather than skip a generation and drop support for 140-series cars, yet this is not the case. What are my options? Sure, I don't plan on owning my 142 forever, but I'd at least like to continue the upkeep on it until I sell it.<p>-he who stacks pork

Re: IPD and 140 parts - what the hell is the deal? (Leopold Porkstacker)

I'd call IPD and ask about it. They might not be able to sell you what you are looking for, but they can probably tell you where to go. You might want to check with MVP also.
