The clutch position sensor is a cheap fix, no programming required, and I kept a spare in the glove box as it can cause a no-start condition. You are scanning for codes, is that with a VIDA setup, or a generic reader? If generic you may want to consider getting VIDA, it makes R ownership and especially repair, much easier.
