The streaks are brutal at night. Can anyone recommend a product? Reviews of chamois sponges are all over the place.

I'll one up ya, I don't drive at night.

Seriously, to OP, all that 'crap' just makes things worse. Get it clean and then just water and a clean cloth works for me.
