Does anyone make an interior paint that matches or should I look to replace

Can't hurt to try to paint it, it will be cheaper than replacing that's for sure. Duplicolor has a nice assortment, the Iron color is close to that but I don't think it's meant for plastics. There is also a new product out called Color Bond that is made specifically for painting interior trims and what not, I am actually going to give it a shot on my other car first.

I have the same thing on my 05 center console it annoys the sh*t outta me. Any one know specifically how to fix that.

do you just over spary it, or sand it and all that work?

It depends on how badly the old surface is peeling. I normally just wash the part, strip the silicone etc off with vinyl prep and spray the color coat on. If the part is very bad I sand it, but then you lose the texture. Sometimes filler primer is enough. SEM has all the cleaning and prep agents, a full color system.

In the pics above, I would clean and spray the console, and sand prime and spray the cubby hole. SEM colorcoat preserves the texture well and it's very durable on most surfaces even without clear coat. I painted soft open cell foam arm rests 4 years ago and they don't peel yet. But I also painted the lower vinyl parts of my vette's door panels, and they peel quite easily. It depends on the plastic properties. Adhesion to these Volvo console parts should be pretty good.

What color do you think will be the closest match to the oem color?

There are different shades of oem color so its best to go to a paint shop that sells SEM and compare with color chips or rattle can lids. For example, i found Acura color to be a better match than gm color for my gm car.

Aren't there also dash kits with faux wood that can cover some of that? I was looking at the stealership's wall dedicated to accessories and they had a bunch of different grains. You can also find them on Ebay :)

Hello I will post some pictures today.
I had it like that and now it looks beautiful.
It took me about 8 hours to make it look like that.
U will need glue, and leatherette.

I dismounted the center console, cleaned it with an alcohol, then used this glue: http://www.chemopren.cz/produkty/chemopren-extrem/#
to glue the leatherette. Well U will need lot of patience and U need to be handy in these things.
Well I made it myself (my real job is Pharmacist) so I guess anyone who is handy can do this.

As for the cabinet next to radio..well here I have no idea what to do with it...
I had little scratches on the top and I have installed parking sensor display so now its not visible.
Your scratches look really bad. I suggest paint :S

Next post will be pictures.

Sorry for my crappy english.
