Yes...it is called the "afterblow effect"...All new V70s, S60s and S80s (that means all the cars derived out of the P2x platform) have this feature built in. I am surprised that the fan started right after you shut off the engine. It usually occurs up to 50 minutes after that...anyway, this feature has been built in so that it can remove extra condensation from the A/C compressor.
