For those with a 2007 model S80. At night is the dial/scroll wheel illuminated? Mine is not and I do not know if its a blown bulb or meant to be that way. The dial/scroll wheel on my 2004 XC90 is illuminated at night.

On the Volvo website the dial is shown as illuminated when viewed in night mode.

I am not at my car now, but I don't recall the actual scroll switch being illuminated. I think that just the gradient symbol to the left of the scroll, and the white notch on the scroll switch are illuminated. However, even at night, it is still very dull.

08 definitely is, because i cranked mine down just 15 minutes ago.

There are three icons that are shown illuminated on the Volvo website.

1. A circle with a light symbol in it above the scroll wheel (mine is illuminated).
2. A notch on the actual scroll wheel (mine is not illuminated).
3. A gradient symbol (triangle pointing down) to the left of the scroll wheel (mine is not illuminated).
