I'm planning on installing a new clutch and flywheel in the near future. I'm wondering if anyone on here has had experience with this especially around the need for the special tools to compress the pressure plate and to rewind the self adjusting clutch.
Do you still need the tool to push down the pressure plates "fingers" even on a brand new clutch? I'm pretty sure I don't need the self adjusting clutch tool on a new clutch.
The link below shows the two tools in action: (scroll to the last post in the thread)

Also, are there any recommendations for parts to change while I have the transmission and angle gear out? So far, I'm going to replace:
- flywheel bolts
- pressure plate mounting bolts
- rear main seal
- clutch slave cylinder
Am I missing anything?
Thanks,
Tim
