I'd like to install an oil pressure guage (along with a tach) in my "new" '84 Volvo 245. I have a couple of oil pressure guages I found at the pull-a-part - one reads to "3" and the other "5" - is there a functional difference between these guages? Also, do I need to install an oil pressure sensor or is there already a place I can attach the lead?
Here are some pics to my 245, picked up this last weekend:
http://www.nedova.com/volvo245/volvo1.jpg
http://www.nedova.com/volvo245/volvo2.jpg
thank you craigslist
Re: Installing guages (volvo240dl)

Yes you need to replace the idiot light switch with a combined switch and pressure sender. Sorry don't have partnumbers available right now.
