Re: Installing a Prosport boost gauge (CM2RAS)

Here is a link to my install thread on v70r.com, which lists the fuses that I tapped for the wiring on my prosport gauge: http://www.v70r.com/forums/ind...+door
I have wired it so it's white when the DRLs are on and blue when the headlights are on. We both have 04 Rs, so you should be able to tap the same fuses. 05+ Rs have totally different fuse panels.
From that thread: For anyone else looking to install a similar gauge, I ended up tapping the following fuses in the driver's side dash panel: red wire from gauge for constant 12V = fuse 1 (low beams), orange wire from gauge = fuse 14 (passenger seat), white wire from gauge = fuse 10 (DRL). This gives me a white display during the day while the DRL's are on and blue at night when the headlights are on.

I ended up using scotch-lock taps to splice into the wires on the back of the fuse panel on the drivers side of the dash for everything except the black ground wire, which I connected directly to the chassis bolts underneath the carpet below the drivers side of the dash. I probed out all of the fuse connections with a digital multimeter to make sure that they were correct.
Cheers,
J
I bought the Prosport ones too. I really like the design, and their wideband O2 gauge is a low profile (about 1" deep) so it allows for some really nice mounting.
